Joseph S. Weiss, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist. He received his doctoral degree in Psychology of Education from the University of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1990). He has received training in family and marital therapy and in Rational Emotive Therapy.
He is a Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner™ (NLP™) and is trained in Design Human Engineering (DHE™), which are methods developed from Ericksonian Hypnosis. His extensive experience includes spiritual concerns, and end of life issues. Rapid resolution of the emotional impact of bereavement and grief, rapid relief of phobias, post traumatic stress, using imagery for health improvement, pain management, and smoking cessation are among some of the ways he uses his NLP™, DHE™ and hypnosis training .
